Duo Nadja Brezger - Albin Ormegard

The vocals are melody-driven or narrative, gentle or rhythmic and powerful. The guitar as a versatile partner paints bright lines and effective surfaces in different colors. The original compositions and cover songs create a special atmosphere, with an energetic groove and individual character.

Nadja Brezger sings nationally and internationally on various stages and is active with several ensembles. She is part of the "Bundesjazzorchester der Bundesrepublik Deutschland" and has made a name for herself with numerous live performances and studio recordings. Last year, the young soprano received the "Jütting” scholarship as a soloist and came second in the "Deutschen Chorwettbewerb" with "VoiceMix". With the a cappella quintet "Lylac", they became the main scholarship holder of the "Zukunftsinitiative Rheinland-Pfalz (ZIRP) e.V." in 2024 and emerged as double prize winners at the "International A Cappella Contest". After successfully completing her bachelor's degree in vocal jazz and popular music at “Hochschule für Musik Mainz” and “Conservatorio Di Musica G.B. Martini di Bologna”, Nadja is now studying for a master's degree at the Jazzcampus Basel while also working as a concert singer and vocal coach.

Albin Ormegard, 23, a guitarist from Sweden whose competence even as a young teenager raised no doubts. With an early dedication to his craft, Albin pursued his passion for jazz music through studies at institutions including Skurups Folkhögskola, The Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm, and presently, as he nears completion of his bachelor's degree as an Erasmus scholar at the esteemed Jazzcampus in Basel. While establishing a prominent presence within the music scene of Stockholm, Ormegard showcases his talent through collaborations across Europe. He has led performances with his ensembles, including the "Albin Ormegard Trio" and "Asteroidea," while also contributing as a sideman to various projects in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Estonia, Croatia, and Switzerland.
