The 4 musicians, having their roots in four different countries, encountered in Basel and started playing regularly every week.
Soon they discovered a common sense for playing intense songs as well as soulful melodies and developed a strong connection to a common sound and rhythmic conception.
The dedication for modern jazz and appreciating the jazz tradition lead to the foundation of the „Unity 4tet“ in 2024, playing Standards and own material.
